About Double Bay Public School P&C Association

The P&C is a team of volunteers drawn from parents/carers at Double Bay Public School. Its primary focus is to raise money to:

  • allow the school to run enhanced teaching programs for our children
  • purchase additional resources to improve the depth and quality of teaching
  • enhance the safety and amenity of the school

The P&C also runs the successful Before & After School Activities program (BASA). This program provides experiences that complement or expand the learning experiences in the classroom.

To do this, the P&C raises money in three ways:

  • Fundraising Events throughout the year
  • Individual donations to the Kids Wonderfund
  • Sponsorship from local businesses and those run by parents at the school

The P&C also liaises with the NSW State Government and local Members of Parliament to ensure that available funding is directed to the needs of Double Bay Public School.

Volunteers are always welcome to be involved in running the P&C, assist with BASA or our fundraising events. The P&C meets twice every term. Notices of meetings are sent to all parents/carers in the school. Contact us through the Contact page of this website.
